Julia Hampton-FreundThis IS for you if:
you are a beginner to art
you wish to re-spark your creativity with colour after a stagnant period
you feel overwhelmed by colour and often find yourself with mud brown results
you'd like to create abstract and semi abstract art but don't know where to start
you'd like to add more creative flair and wish to bring more fun to your art practice
This is NOT for you if:
you are not interested in art or creativity
you feel confident with colour
you are not interested in making abstract art.
you don't want to give time for your creative journey
Sarah Bowden's colourful and creative paintings are inspired by the wisdom of animals and flowers and she digs deep into the meanings of colours to inform her work.
In a past life, she was a teacher for 18 years, always on the look out to enhance her teaching practice with creativity to bring the magic of colour to the classroom.
Sarah was even described by her former headteacher as 'the MOST creative teacher she had ever worked with'.
Almost 3 years ago, she turned professional artist and she has sold her art nationally and internationally.
She is the founder of the Facebook group - Sparking Creativity where she inspires aspiring artists and the creatively curious to create, create, create!
Her mission is to bring colour, creativity and connection to the lives of others so that they can reap all the therapeutic benefits that art has to offer.
As the Bohemian in Suburbia that she is, you can find her creating art with passion, practising daily yoga, reading nourishing books, walking in the woods and immersing herself in gratitude, self care and self love. Each day she works at being the best version of herself so she can be a great role model to her daughters.
There are 7 lessons and the course is about an hour in length. Each session is averagely 7 minutes long, but the art you do will take longer to create.
Everything is recorded or downloadable. You have lifetime access to this course. There is no such thing as falling behind. You can enjoy each session in your own way and in your own time.
Absolutely not! No expertise is required. Just a willingness to experiment and explore is required.
You will need acrylic paints, pencil, paintbrushes and paper. I highly recommend acrylic pens for detail, but this is optional.
Inside the course, you will be able to join our supportive Face Book Group. This is a place where you can ask questions and find help and connections.
This is focused more at those who are beginners to art or those who are coming back to art after a long time. However, I am an experienced artist and I am motivated by what I show you. This mini course could help you to warm you up and find more creative flair in your work.
It is a self paced course. Each lesson however builds upon the previous lesson so it is important that you do them in order. How long it takes is up to you. The beauty of what I show you is that you can repeat the sessions over and over and have different results.
I know that if you fully commit to doing the homework, you will achieve results!
